Wild Kratts Season 1, Episode 36 – Bat in the Brownies
Jimmy – Yo, Crewbies, Brownies are served
Aviva – mm delicioso
Kiko – mm, I want this one
Chris – Jimmy, your brownies rule!
Have you ever watched Wild Kratts? It stars real wild life adventurers Chris and Martin Kratt as they take a look at animals across the world. When the imagine “what if?” they get transported to the animated world where their team helps them view science and nature, at work and, up close.
Its funny, its educational, and my kids (ages 8 & 9) love it. Honestly, our whole family does. We have seen every season and we love them all. One of our (okay, my) favorite episodes is Bat in the Brownies. Jimmy makes a batch of brownies only to discover a little brown bat has landed on his plate. And while Aviva and Kiko are initially unwelcoming to “bite size” Chris and Martin show them how harmless, and helpful, the little mammal can be.
Plus, in this episode, there are brownies!
I’m not sure what kind of kitchen is on the Tortuga, but these brownies are easy to make almost anywhere. With only a few ingredients, 1 bowl and about 35 minutes from start to finish, you can have moist and chocolatey goodness before your next episode of Wild Kratts starts. As Aviva would say – PERFECTO!
