Kung Fu Panda (film)
Mr. Ping: The secret ingredient is… nothing!
Po: Huh?
Mr. Ping: You heard me. Nothing! There is no secret ingredient.
Po: Wait, wait… it’s just plain old noodle soup? You don’t add some kind of special sauce or something?
Mr. Ping: Don’t have to. To make something special you just have to believe it’s special.
After a recent trip to the movies, to watch Kung Fu Panda 3 (we loves us some Po in this house), my son asked me to create a kids page on Fan Girls Cook. All the talk of noodles and dumplings left him hungry and inspired. He suggested that I make recipes from their favorite movies and tv shows, and before I knew he and my daughter had a list of things for me to make.
So the FGC jr (Fan Girls Cook jr) will create kid fandom favorites. They’ll be easy to make and use limited ingredients so little fans can help out.
Like Po’s Noodle Soup. From start to table takes only 10 minutes. There is no special ingredient, but it’s full of flavor, and more importantly its full of NOODLES. I used the pre-packed, .29 cent ramen, but you could use whatever noodle you like, just adjust your cook time.
