How I Met Your Mother, Season 9, episode 1 – The Locket
The Mother: Whoa! You just took a cookie from a complete stranger on a train. I like how trusting you are. There could be drugs or poison in there…..
Lily Aldrin: You know what? I don’t care if these are poisoned. There’s chocolate and peanut butter and caramel in these sumbitches.
The Mother: I call them sumbitches!
I miss How I met your mother, or as the cool kids write – HIMYM.
HIMYM was on for 9 years! That’s 9 years funny, crazy friendships. 9 years of challenges, of face-slaps, of beer drinking post college ‘adulting’ and 9 years of awesome.
And after 9 years (not to mention all the reruns) of watching one of the funniest sitcoms to air since friends, I have come to a few conclusions:
- Barney is, was, and will always be awesome.
- I say awesome way too much thanks to HIMYM
- I also say suck it losers, challenge accepted and Legen…wait for it…dary thanks to HIMYM
- I will never look at tramp stamps the same
- Lilly and I could be besties
Lilly is awesome. She takes cookies from a stranger on a train, she swears a lot, she’s not afraid to burp in public and she’s adorable. We have so much in common.
I mean, I’d totally take cookies from a stranger. Like these sumbitches! They’re not your typical toll house. These chocolate chip cookies are made with peanut butter and have caramel pieces in them and they bake up thin and super crunchy.
They’re awesome.
